Tarte with cheese and figs

Ingredients

for 4-6 servings
250 g puff pastry
150 g cream cheese
100 g grated Le Gruyère Kaltbach
For serving
4 figs
50 g chopped walnuts
honey
thyme

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 200° C.

  2. Line a baking tray with non-stick baking paper. Place a pastry sheet on top. Use a knife to cut a frame but not all the way through. Poke the pastry with a fork. Gently spread the cream cheese on top of the puff pastry. Bake for 12 minutes. Remove from oven and add Le Gruyère Kaltbach. Return to oven for a further 3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

  3. Cut the figs in quarters and slices. Arrange the figs and add walnuts. Drizzle with honey and decorate with thyme.
